Jonathan Rabagliati

Workshop Tutor

Jonathan Rabagliati is an artist whose field of practice extends across architecture, art and design. His interest is in harnessing within design processes, systems of emergence and complexity. One persistent area of research has been the generation, evolution, and analysis of 3D foam structures. His thinking is grounded by a strong conceptual art training. He studied at Slade School of Fine art (BA), UCL and later at Royal College Art (MA) and the Architectural Association (MA).

He has exhibited his art widely, including at the Museum of Art, Marrakesh, Morocco and Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh. He edited the book "George Hanson Critical Forum (2004)." Currently, he is a member of  the Specialist Modeling Group at Foster + Partners where he explores generative design strategies and juggles daily with complex geometry.
