Hugo Mulder

Hugo Mulder is a senior engineer with Arup’s Advanced Technology + Research London Group. He graduated from TU Delft in 2003. He has been at Arup since 2002 and was involved in various projects including the European extremely large telescope enclosure design.

Hugo's interests include responsive architecture and responsive structures. For SmartGeometry 2009, he developed a system for interactivity between the physical and the virtual worlds. Using an Arduino, a servo, and a camera, he designed GenerativeComponents forms that are responsive to human physical gestures.
