Smartgeometry Workshop and Conference
The Smartgeometry Workshop and Conference consists of a four-day workshop followed by a two-day conference. The Workshop is a unique creative cauldron attracting attendees from across the world of academia and professional practice, as well as many of the brightest students. The Workshop is open to 100 people who come together for four days of design and collaboration. This year’s Workshop was in response to the challenge “Constructing for Uncertainty” where issues of computational ambiguity were addressed.
After four days of innovative work, the conference kicked off with Talkshop. Talkshop offerered an opportunity for critical reflection on what was accomplished in the Workshop. It also provided an opportunity to share perspectives, open debates, pose questions, challenge orthodoxies, and propose new ideas.
The conference then concluded with the Symposium, which examined the challenge of “Constructing for Uncertainty” and provided an opportunity to listen to leading practitioners. Invited keynote speakers showcased major projects and research from around the globe in regards to this year’s challenge.
