Alumni Summit Theme: Building Visions

The increasing maturity of parametric and computational design processes in practice has lead to remarkable results in the built environment. The Alumni Summit showcases previous SmartGeometry participant's contribution with recent projects. The goal of the Alumni Summit is to show case building visions, both in the sense of realizing visions what seemed impossible before but also in showcasing architects visions of what building can become with today's technology and design thinking.

Conference Day Theme: Vision Building

The conference focused on building the vision for what is to come. The past year has posed many unforeseen challenges both economically and through political changes, opening up new opportunities. A strong vision is essential for all of these changes and the conference day challenged a unique list of speakers to formulate their vision of what is to come. To build a vision takes a unique combination of skills and knowledge but also the ability to cross disciplinary boundaries, to bridge old and new, and to contextualize recent trends in an overall picture of the industry and society.
