The conference focused on building the vision for what is to come. The past year has posed many unforeseen challenges, both economically and through political changes, opening up new opportunities. A strong vision is essential for all of these changes, and the conference day challenged a unique list of speakers to formulate their vision of what is to come. To build a vision takes a unique combination of skills and knowledge, as well as the ability to cross disciplinary boundaries, bridge old and new, and contextualize recent trends in an overall picture of the industry and society.
