Are my WaterCAD files going to work with my new WaterGEMS license?
Yes. Simply open your WaterCAD files in WaterGEMS and start modeling. WaterCAD and WaterGEMS share the same file structure. This will work as long as your WaterCAD license is up to date (version V8i or V8 XM). Prior versions will need to be imported in WaterGEMS (one-time import only).

WaterCAD is very easy to use. Will I have to learn how to use WaterGEMS?
No. WaterGEMS users can run on four different interoperable platforms, including the classic standalone interface that works exactly as WaterCAD's easy-to-use interface. You can also choose to run WaterGEMS on ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, if you prefer, maintaining a single geospatial data source.
