Bentley’s integrated water solution offers superior intra- and interoperability between Bentley and non-Bentley products. The fact that professionals can run their water models directly within the CAD or GIS platform of their choice and can leverage external data improves the quality of collaboration, consequently improving team productivity.
Furthermore, this full integration of the water model with CAD, GIS, and SCADA systems produces sustainable water models that don’t need to be rebuilt from scratch every time this external data changes. This saves a tremendous amount of time and cost through a reduction in the amount of human resources required.

- Leverage external GIS, CAD, and SCADA data:
The ModelBuilder module will help users manage updates of both the water model and the original source data. The Network Navigator feature will help modelers identify and fix any network topological and connectivity issues resulting from inconsistent source data.
- Sustainable hydraulic models:
The GIS-ID functionality maintains associations between records in the source file and elements in the model, creating a sustainable hydraulic model that doesn’t need to be re-built from scratch every time the GIS/CAD data changes.
