Reliable Point Cloud Modeling of Substations

The goal of this $125,000 project in Essen, Germany, was to deliver facility models and diverse cross sections of existing substations to easily show where parts must be removed, replaced, or refurbished to meet fire-protection requirements such as modern sprinkler systems. 3D laser scanning technology provided the best solution for facilitating this process. |
