gINT Fence Diagrams

Fence Diagrams with gINT

gINT 2D/ 3D fence diagrams can display data from multiple boring logs in a single report. The following fence diagram reports provide material column data in a graphical format.

gINT gives users total freedom to report any data to fence reports – water levels, well, lab, and more. If the information can be shown on a borehole log report, it can likewise be shown on a fence diagram.

As with boring log reports, users can make fence diagrams "smart" so that the display adjusts to the presence or absence of data. The following fence reports illustrate how the display accommodates differing data, as in the lack of a well and different field and lab tests.

Enhanced Fence Reports

gINT allows users to extract any surface data in a format that contouring and modeling programs can read and convert to a grid. This includes X, Y, Z information for top of bedrock, bottom of fill, top of aquifer, and so on. The gridded surface can then be imported back into gINT and displayed on fence diagrams.

Using the Fence Drapes feature, graphics can be placed on a 2D fence report that depicts features in elevation along a straight, zigzagged or curved line.

Geotechnical Cross Sections

gINT drawing tools enable users to interpret between bore holes to create cross sections, or cross sections can be created in a CAD application, such as MicroStation.
