Who Uses SewerCAD V8i?
Utilities, Municipalities, and Engineering Firms

SewerCAD can be used to solve the hydraulics of most any system that consists of gravity flow in partly full pipes. Unlike many gravity flow models, it also does an excellent job with pumps, force mains, and pressure sewers.

Users of SewerCAD, such as utilities, municipalities, and engineering firms, are primarily involved with design of new sanitary sewer systems or extensions of existing systems. A typical use is design of the sanitary sewer system in a new land development project.

While it can also be used for analysis of existing combined sewer systems or rainfall induced infiltration/inflow in sanitary systems with overflow problems, users working on those problems will generally find SewerGEMS to be a more appropriate product because of the way it handles rainfall hydrology and dynamic flow routing.
