ProjectWise Passport - Portable, Global License for Collaboration
Licensing ProjectWise Navigator is simple with a ProjectWise Passport. One ProjectWise Passport licenses a named user for any ProjectWise client, desktop, or web application. It also licenses the connection between these products and any licensed ProjectWise Server.
ProjectWise Passports cannot be pooled or shared; every ProjectWise user must have their own ProjectWise Passport, procured either as a perpetual license, as a benefit of SELECT*, as a monthly subscription, or through their Enterprise License (ELS) or ELS for Municipalities subscription.
A key advantage of ProjectWise Passports is their portability. ProjectWise Passport holders may use their Passport to collaborate on any project, thus reducing the cost of collaboration across multiple projects when compared to other per-project price models. With a ProjectWise Passport every user only pays once.
Procuring a ProjectWise Passport
There are three ways to procure a ProjectWise Passport:
- Purchase a ProjectWise Passport as a perpetual license.
- Pay a monthly or annual subscription fee for a ProjectWise Passport.
- Receive a ProjectWise Passport subscription as a benefit of SELECT
(no-charge SELECT benefit for all MicroStation SELECT subscribers).
All users can procure a ProjectWise Passport from their Bentley account representative.

Core capabilities in ProjectWise Navigator include Clash Detection and Schedule Simulation. These additional features are incrementally licensed and enabled by the ProjectWise Clash Resolution Visa and the ProjectWise Schedule Simulation Visa. |
