User interface performance and import performance enhancements have been incorporated into the Data Quality Manager, Operations Facility Explorer and Management of Change Module. The latest versions of Oracle 10g and 11g are now supported. Some of the features that have been added to the latest edition of ProjectWise Lifecycle Server are:
Negative Searching – Dealing with a facility’s worth of data means understanding what you have but maybe more importantly what you don’t have. While LCS users have always been able to determine missing attributes at the time of import, LCS now provides the ability to interactively search your entire facility for objects that are missing key attributes. This is just another way LCS provides a clear view of the status of your facility data.
User Interface Performance –Searching a facility for specific data can sometimes return huge amounts of records. Lifecycle Server can serve up the data as quickly as needed, and now our user interface can display that query as quickly as it is retrieved. User-definable paging has been included in all views to enhance the user experience and help you get to your data even faster than before.
Data Quality Manager Enhancements – Before you can search for and review data, you have to import and cleanse it. The Data Quality Manager has undergone several enhancements, making it faster and more stable, enabling it to support simultaneous imports consisting of hundreds of thousands of objects.
