Easy To Use Graphical Interface

You can quickly define electrical systems are graphically using Hevacomp's Connect package. An extensive database of manufacturers' protective devices (including adjustable devices), cable and busbar data is provided. Boards, loads, busbars and multiple supply points are displayed graphically on screen. Copy and edit facilities eliminate repeating data. Zoom commands make even the largest project simple to plan and control.

IEE 17th Compliant

Device selection and cable sizing is carried out to ensure compliance with IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. Volt drop, earth loop impedance, disconnection times, short circuit calculations and discrimination checks are automatically performed.

Automatic Report Generation

A wide range of reports are produced by the package including cable sizing, cpc sizing, earth fault levels and disconnection times, short circuit fault levels and energy let-through data. Discrimination faults are indicated with facilities to overlay device curves. Custom built reports can be set up to suit your own requirements.

DXF Compatibility

An existing DXF drawing can be used with Hevacomp Contractor to overlay the electrical system. Cable and busbar lengths can automatically be scaled from the drawing if required. The scheme drawing can be printed, plotted or exported as a DXF file to a CAD package such as AutoCAD.

Regulation Options For Older Projects

Legacy projects can select whether to use 17th Edition or 16th Edition regulations.
