The GeoStructural Analysis Sheeting Design and Sheeting Check modules enable the design of sheet pile structures and allow for the prediction of performance during construction and service life.
Sheeting Design
The Sheeting Design module provides you with tools to analyze and determine pile embedment lengths (fixed or hinged toes), anchor loads, pile bending moments, and internal forces. You can easily evaluate internal forces on a sheet pile structure, as well as structure geometry at any stage in the construction. Output can be used within the Sheeting Check module to predict performance during construction and the service life.
Sheeting Check
The Sheeting Check module is used to predict sheet pile performance throughout construction and the service life. Performance assessment includes estimating the displacement and pressures within the soil and acting on the sheet pile, as well as loads acting on reinforced elements. The Sheeting Check module can utilize custom data or analysis output from the Sheet Design .
Key Features
- Specify surface terrain and subsurface stratigraphy in front of, behind, and beneath the sheet pile wall or structure
- Define soil layers with different properties using either project-specific data or the built-in soil parameters database of common soil types (USCS)
- Import soil parameters from gINT
- Apply user-defined forces and moments to sheet pile walls or structures
- Apply an unlimited number of reinforcement anchors to the sheet pile wall
- Easily define structural elements such as struts and/or external boundary conditions (prescribed displacement)
