New Features in LEAP RC-PIER v.8.0.0
- RC-PIER v8.0.0 is updated to 2008 AASHTO Interim Code Specifications.
- RC-PIER now has four shear methods. The new approach in the 2008 method (Beta Theta Equation) is added to the already available and simplified MCFT and Vci,Vcw method.
- RC-PIER v8.0.0 now supports variable surcharge. Users can define the variable surcharge in the combined or pile footing.
- California State specifications are now supported and include:
- Computation of special Strength II and Fatigue I Limit States
- Auto generation of LL, CE and BR considering the height above deck
- Vehicle library has modifications and now considers Permit trucks P5-P15 and fatigue truck
- Special computation of extreme event
- Computation of combined shear and torsion using the new method to compute Vr
- Reporting three highest capacity/demand ratio for column flexure
- Bundled reinforcement library option
- Input of reinforcement in flanges of bent cap (integral pier)
