New Features in LEAP Bridge v.8.0.0
- Updates to the Automated Bridge Creator (ABC) wizard provide advanced functionality including the ability to:
- Define vertical profiles within the ABC wizard.
- Define cross sections with the ABC wizard for prestressed concrete bridges.
- Define cross sections and profiles, as well additional alignment information, for multiple bridges.
- Data exchange and graphics display and optimization now process more quickly and efficiently.
- Multi-threaded application support now enables users to switch tabs without having to wait for the 3D model to finish loading.
- All superstructure reinforcement (including strands and stirrups in precast girders, negative moment reinforcing in decks, and tendons in box girders) is now also displayed in the 2D superstructure views.
- Improved DXF export functionality (including support for colors and accurate stationing information) allows the 3D bridge model to be exported into DXF supported packages, including MicroStation.
- LEAP Bridge now supports improved interaction between an ABC generated bridge and an alignment in GM that was imported using XML from other roadway/geometry packages.
- Support for submitting a file through FTP is now integrated within LEAP Bridge.
