Bentley AXSYS®.Integrity is a software system that provides the link between plant performance and asset integrity. It is a risk-based inspection tool and a platform for establishing strategies to maximize plant availability, provide inputs to capital expenditure
(CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) profiles as well as allowing owners to ask "what if" questions.  AXSYS®.Integrity integrates a rules-based system to determine the likelihood of failures based on factors such as internal corrosion, external corrosion under
insulation, erosion, thermal fatigue, and so on. 

 

Integrated Design Data with Inspection Functions

AXSYS®.Integrity consists of intelligently linked databases and technical codes connected in a manner that allows the best possible use of plant data. Linked to a process simulator, AXSYS®.Engine provides key attributes not otherwise widely available and provides data integration between design, process information and inspection functions (as well as links between existing databases and electronic data formats). Fully consistent with API 580 guidelines for quantitative analysis; it employs predictive models that have been proven effective in use by specialists for many years that can be optimized to the specific inspection schedules within a plant as part of an overall asset management program.

 

Broad Application Base Including Energy Production, Chemical Processing, Storage and Transportation

AXSYS®.Integrity is a system for assessing engineering risk, life and integrity of pressure vessels (or any other equipment) used in energy production, chemical processing, storage and transportation of oil, gas, refined products and petrochemicals.  AXSYS®.Integrity is flexible and customizable allowing it to be used in a large assortment of segments. 
 
 

Joint Development Between Bentley and ESR Technology

AXSYS®.Integrity was jointly developed by Bentley and ESR Technology Engineering Services, Inc. The development brings together ESR Technology’s expertise in Plant Life Safety, HazOps Plant Life Extension through corrosion analysis and other Plant Life technologies, with Bentley. Data and document management technology, offering a flexible technology platform that addresses plant lifecycle management.

 

Provides Comprehensive Analytical Tools for Determining Probability of Failure, Consequence of Failure and Maintenance Effectiveness for Plant Items

AXSYS®.Integrity contains the tools for determining probability of failure, consequence of failure and maintenance effectiveness for plant items. AXSYS®.Integrity performs likelihood assessment for failure by using process stream data as input and considers a full range of damage mechanisms, such as corrosion, erosion, fatigue and so on.  AXSYS®.Integrity contains a full database of code properties to allow easy assessment of analysis thus allowing the plant maintenance program to be defined that is fully effective.


 

Creates Inspection Strategy and Planning

Maintenance data such as measured corrosion data, inspection results, maintenance data including remedial action and dates and operations history are all inputs into the AXSYS®.Integrity system. As a result, the inspection planning data that is created is based on the most up-to-date data and can be readily re-assessed during the life of the plant.

 

Provides a Structured Approach for Assessing the Financial and Safety Risk Associated with Plant Failures

AXSYS®.Integrity is a rules-based risk-based inspection system that ensures a risk-based analysis in performed according to a strict process. By using a tightly structured process, results are consistent and plant failure risk will be minimized, this reducing the financial risk.

AXSYS®.Integrity is designed for ease of use, minimizing data collection while maintaining and ensuring accuracy. It enables authorized access to data and manages exchange of information, so that users can easily determine the frequency of inspection for any component by analyzing alternative inspection strategies. In addition, it develops comprehensive and detailed inspection schedules with forward-planning dates and suitable inspection techniques included in simple-to-generate reports.
 

Provides Audit Trail for Decision Making

AXSYS®.Integrity maintains a full history of the decision process made during the risk-based inspection strategy process. This history then acts as an audit trail allowing inspectors to analyze the decision-making process readily and easing the plant maintenance process.

AXSYS®.Integrity is an essential part of the "what if" analysis that must be performed as part of plant safety. Since the risk assessment tools are built into AXSYS®.Integrity the "what if" questions can be asked and answered in an analytical fashion, rather than a qualitative fashion, thus providing better answers.
