Brief summary and highlights of the new features added to AutoPLANT PDW:
General AutoPLANT PDW new features
- AutoCAD 2008 32 bit versions are now supported platforms for AutoPLANT. Please refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported AutoCAD versions.
- When tagged components are copied, you now have the ability to assign tag numbers to the copied components based on the definition of a tagging pattern that can be applied to all copied components. The user interface functionality is similar to the update components interface that is available in the in piping module.
- You can now edit all tags in the current model via one convenient interface without the need to select each individual item one by one in order to change item tags.
- Previously, AutoPLANT provided the ability to uniquely define a tagged component to a keytag in the registry. If a component attempted to assign a keytag that is already assigned then the system will warn you that this keytag is defined in another model and prevent the assignment. This enhancement allows the same keytag to be shared by more than one component either in the same model or in any other model in the same project.
Piping
- Instrument gauges can now be drawn with either cylindrical faces or with rectangular faces making their representation more realistic.
- It is now easier to insert attachments such as supports, flow arrows, and others on pulled pipe in piping and now lets you position relative to any bends or ports while still ensuring proper connectivity.
- Close coupled check valves are now available for refrigeration regulators in addition to the existing closed coupled strainers.
- Pressure-relief valves are now available in the refrigeration module.
- Lets a general hanger connect to a pipe lug hanger support attachment as well as elbow lug hanger support attachment hanger.
- Support for Personal Isogen 5.6.9.5, which is compatible with Isogen release 8.13.1.18.
