GenerativeComponents is available to all SELECT subscribers as a no-cost extension to MicroStation. SELECT subscribers should go to SELECT Downloads. Installing this free trial may adversely affect existing MicroStation-based software licensing configurations. Please check in with your system administrator before proceeding with this installation.

This 30 day evaluation enables you to try GenerativeComponents for free. All you need to do is register and log in to Bentley.com, download, install, and activate GenerativeComponents.
Please use your Bentley.com or SELECT ID to log-in to the link below. If you don't already have a login, it's easy to get one. Then download GenerativeComponents and its required supporting applications and install them on your computer.

Memory: 256MB minimum, 512MB recommended. More memory will almost always improve performance, particularly when working with larger models.
Hard Disk: 900MB free disk space (400MB install footprint)
Video: Video Graphics Card supported by DirectX 9.0. See graphics card manufacturer for latest information on DirectX drivers. If no graphics card supported by DirectX can be found, software evaluation under Windows XP SP2 will be attempted. At least 128MB of video RAM is recommended. For optimal performance, graphics display color depth should be set to 24-bit or higher. When using a color depth setting of 16-bit, some inconsistencies will be noted.
Internet Connection: Access to the Internet required for product installation and activation. An active internet connection is required for license validation at least once every 30 days (with no user action required).
