For examples of other winning (and finalist) projects, please review the Be Inspired Project Portfolios on our website.

Judges are looking for projects that:

  • Provide quantitative, measurable, numeric data (where applicable)
  • Exhibit a sustainable way forward, both economically and environmentally
  • Demonstrate innovative use of technology to meet project goals
  • Overcome challenges, no matter how big or small the scale of the project
  • Leverage information modeling to create truly integrated projects, which in turn deliver intelligent infrastructure

3. Develop a Detailed Project Abstract
Judges place a strong emphasis on the written portion of a Be Inspired submission. The abstract is the one and only opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of your project. Be sure your submission stands out from the rest by:

  • Developing a detailed and concise abstract in 250-1,000 words
  • Defining the project goal and how it was achieved
  • Explaining how obstacles and challenges were overcome
  • Providing examples of benefits and time/money saved by utilizing Bentley products and services
  • Supplying quantitative, measurable, and numeric data
  • Including all aspects of a project (don’t focus on one silo)
