BIM Executive Summit Tokyo

Tradeshows and Conferences

The central topics of the BIM Executive Summit Tokyo were chosen in response to the evident synergy between critical new technology-enabled methodologies and objectives in sustainable design. These are both rapidly reshaping the building professions.

In Japan, the construction processes of the construction industry haven't changed for tens of years and still depend on two-dimension modeling; therefore various inefficiencies caused by the mismatch between blueprint books, the loss of design information, and double input still remain.

Moreover, the correspondence of a drawing and a structural statement in the architectural confirmation application is requested severely more than before by recently revised Building Standard Law.

To manage this problem in the architectural industry, the BIM Executive Summit Tokyo was held for all of the management executives who have been seeking improvement in the effective operation of design departments, management planning section of architect firms, and construction companies.

BEST PRACTICE SESSIONS

In the best-practice sessions, recognized leaders in their fields shared their firms’ experiences inside and outside of Japan with the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to integrate and unify their production information and improve their architectural production processes.
