Technical Requirements (valid for the latest version of CivilStorm)
Operating System: Windows 7 x64, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later), Windows XP Professional x64, Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1 or later), and Windows Server 2003 x64 (Service Pack 1 or later).
Software Prerequisites: Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 (Installer will attempt to download and install this prerequisite if it is not present during installation)
Processor: As per minimum operating system requirements
RAM: As per minimum operating system requirements (1GB or more is recommended for large networks, or to work on multiple files simultaneously)
Hard Disk: 400 MB of free storage space, with additional room for data files
Display: 800 x 600 resolution, 256 colors (or better)

CivilStorm can run as a standalone platform and in MicroStation and PowerCivil, as a standard feature. It can also run in AutoCAD, as an add-on feature.
There are no platform requirements for the stand-alone version. To run CivilStorm V8i on the MicroStation platform requires a MicroStation V8i license. To run CivilStorm V8i on the PowerCivil platform requires a PowerCivil V8i license. To run CivilStorm V8i on the AutoCAD* platform requires an AutoCAD 2011 or 2012 license (32-bit or 64-bit with the CivilStorm 08.11.02.75 build).
