Spatial Database Support
Bentley Map supports Oracle Spatial and SQL Server Spatial databases. Spatial Data Streaming quickly streams data into your Bentley Map session. Direct Data Access means huge databases are supported at database speeds.
Oracle Spatial: Support for 2D and 3D vector and raster data, standard Oracle Spatial geometry types, topology, 3D building models, and Oracle Workspace Manager.
SQL Server Spatial: Support for 2D and 3D vector data, query, edit and post, and standard SQL Server Spatial data types.

Print Preparation and Plotting
Bentley Map can create powerful maps using interactive placement and layout tools. Thematic maps can be produced to illustrate reports. Maps can extend across multiple pages (map books), each including borders and automatically populated fields. Enhanced grid and graticule generation, in addition to support for a variety of marginalia are included in Bentley Map. The product also includes high-fidelity printing and publishing capabilities necessary to produce composite Postscript or color separation files for print production. |
