This presentation and software demonstration present the interoperability and integration between CAD, GIS asset data, and hydraulic water distribution model using WaterGEMS/WaterCAD.
What you can learn:
  • Build hydraulic models from virtually any GIS data source. Leverage your demand and elevation data.
  • Maintain associations between records in your source file and elements in your model (using the new GIS-ID property).
  • Find and fix network topology and connectivity issues resulting from inconsistent source data (using WaterGEMS/WaterCAD’s Network Navigator).
  • Work within the standalone, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and MicroStation platforms, and share a single modeling dataset.
