Tate is a consultant with Bentley Professional Services. A certified consultant and Bentley Institute instructor, he has used MicroStation since 1988. Tate worked at A+ Integrated Solutions as an application support specialist, providing telephone support to MicroStation users in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Previously he worked at Stewart Systems, where he designed layouts of work centers and equipment setup for new plant expansions. Tate was also a manager for TranSystems Corporation, as well as a configuration manager, CADD engineer and CADD supervisor for BAE Automated Systems. Over his career, he worked as a senior project engineer, database manager, and mail processing equipment mechanic. Tate attended the University of Texas at Arlington and the Postal Service Technical and Development Institute at Norman.
