Bentley provides geospatial tools to map the site; civil tools for survey and terrain modeling; and tools for designing and constructing mechanical equipment, structures, and conveyors.
Mining techniques are facilitated using Bentley technology:
- Deep shaft: Bentley civil applications provide deep shaft tunnel design, including rail, and structures. Post construction visualization is provided using the design model and Bentley Navigator.
- Open pit: Bentley provides tools to design slopes, culverts, dams, bridges and ponds, all critical components in the ongoing operation of a mine.
