Bentley AutoPLANT P&ID
Learn about advanced parametric drafting routines, extensive-ISA standard symbol libraries, and unique export/import capabilities that enable quick generation of intelligent plant schematics. Attendees will see how specification driven routines provide accurate component placement and connectivity checking. See how design data is shared between all applications in the functional design group. Bentley Data Manager and Datasheets
Learn how to use the interface in Data Manager to locate and edit desired data. In addition, learn to create custom views of the database to query and find data faster, and to generate and modify reports. Datasheets will be used to ensure consistency between the database and external documents. Microsoft Excel will be used to show how someone else (i.e. a vendor) can fill in the spreadsheet and hand it back over giving the user the ability to import the data into the project database. See how data is electronically sent for off-site review and returned with easy synchronization to the project database, saving valuable time.

Bentley Instrumentation & Wiring
Learn about the intuitive user interface used to add and modify data and how to quickly generate the components of a loop drawing (i.e. instruments, field panels, card panels). This live, online demonstration includes Piping, Equipment, and Isometric Drawing Extraction. Learn about the intuitive interface for placing equipment and piping components that make it easy to modify designs and simple to produce orthographic plans and sections in the 3D model. Learn to drag and drop items created in AutoPLANT P&ID directly into the model. See how easy it is to create fully annotated and dimensioned drawings, complete with bill of materials, using embedded utilities.
