Easy Storm Sewer Design and Modeling

Who Uses StormCAD?

StormCAD is a comprehensive modeling software program that can be used to analyze and design storm sewer systems using a peak flow (rational method) based approach.

As such, StormCAD is ideal for:

- Land developers
- Roadway/transportation designers
- Stormwater master planners
- Plan reviewers

StormCAD provides calculations for catchment runoff, gutters, inlets, junctions, pipe and prismatic channel networks, and outfalls. StormCAD’s intuitive interface makes it easy to design and analyze these components.

StormCAD is also accepted by FEMA for National Flood Insurance Program

If the peak-flow analysis provided by StormCAD is not appropriate (for example if there is a requirement to analyze stormwater flows over an extended period of time, or take into account storage and detention effects), then users should consider CivilStorm for their stormwater modeling needs.
