Technical Requirements (valid for the latest version of StormCAD)
Operating System: Windows 7 x64, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later), Windows XP Professional x64, Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1 or later), and Windows Server 2003 x64 (Service Pack 1 or later)
Software Prerequisites: Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 (Installer will attempt to download and install this prerequisite if it is not present during installation)
Processor: As per minimum operating system requirements
RAM: As per minimum operating system requirements (1 GB or more is recommended for large networks or to work on multiple files simultaneously)
Hard Disk: 150 MB of free storage space, with additional room for data files
Display: 800 x 600 resolution, 256 colors (or better)
Supported Platforms and Versions
StormCAD V8i (SELECTSeries 1) includes a stand-alone platform and MicroStation and PowerCivil integration as standard. AutoCAD integration is available as an add-on feature.
There are no platform requirements for the stand-alone version. To run StormCAD V8i on:
- MicroStation, you need MicroStation V8i
- PowerCivil for North America, you need PowerCivil for North America V8i
- AutoCAD, you need AutoCAD 2011 or 2012 (32-bit or 64-bit with the StormCAD 08.11.02.75 build)
