2. Short Learning Curve

The learning curve is quite short if you are already using AutoCAD. RAM CADstudio working inside of AutoCAD has an interface you are already familiar with. There are only a few new commands to learn.

3. Details and Callouts

Typical details can be added to the project for use in creating detail sheets and adding callouts for the details on plan and elevation drawings. All callouts are updated immediately to reflect any changes in detail number or sheet number to the linked detail.

4. Up-to-date Drawings

Bi-directional exchange of information between the RAM Structural System and RAM CADstudio makes keeping your drawings up-to-date easy. Changes can be made in RAM CADstudio to the position or design of structural members and then sent back to the RAM Structural System model for analysis. As well as changes made to the RAM Structural System model are taken care of for you in CADstudio upon re-importing. You can select to import or export specific changes.

5. History Log

When re-importing the RAM Structural System model a history is written for each import. This history file lists all of the changes coming from the RAM model. There is also a list of all of the current changes that can be reviewed after every import.

6. Quick, Accurate Column Schedules

The column schedule is very customizable to display the information the way you want. It updates immediately when ever there are changes to the columns drawing. If you use column marks to identify your columns you can instantly mark the columns on any plan. These marks also update whenever there are any changes in the column schedule.
