Revit 2010 gbXML Support

The Bentley Tas gbXML import  is more intelligent than other gbXML imports. It  can "heal and forgive" errors that occur in the Revit gbxml output, which may go unnoticed and can cause major problems in less capable products. Alternatively, the geometry data may be passed directly into the energy simulation module. This is the original intent for gbxml. It overcomes issues of complex geometry being passed from one 3D model to another. This represents an excellent access route to energy simulation for older 3D CAD models.

Compliance Tool

A compliance tool is included for the U.K. regulations Part L2 and EP Certification. Compliance checking is available for Australia/New Zealand, as well as ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED for the United States.

Bentley Tas Simulator V8i has the ability to import gbXML from Bentley Architecture, Bentley Building Mechanical Systems and Bentley Speedikon Architecture. Direct data exchange can be done between Bentley Hevacomp and Tas Simulator V8i.
