OAS offers unlimited configuration of fee structures and payment requirements.
Automated Sign Application and Permit Processing
A full Web implementation, including a configurable security component, allows the agency to offer sign and land owners the ability to complete sign applications and other related tasks online. This self-service capability reduces the time and resources that the owner/agency must spend supporting permit application activities.
A workflow-driven paradigm guides the online user, helping to minimize errors while enforcing consistent application of existing business rules. The system accepts and processes new permit applications and renews existing permits. Additionally, OAS can easily accommodate transference of permits to new sign owners and replacement of licenses.
Sign Inventory Management
All licensed sign structures are managed in a single, consolidated system, making it much easier to meet the requirements of the Federal Beautification Act. Photographs and documents related to each sign are easily stored and linked via integration with a document management platform such as Microsoft Office SharePoint or Bentley ProjectWise.
Financial Process and Billing
OAS includes a complete financial module including invoice, transaction, and payment processing. The software automates creation of billing and notices based on user-defined cycles and business rules. Standard reports allow for easy tracking and auditing of financial transactions. Field Work Assignment
OAS supports efficient assignment and completion of inspections and other scheduled tasks associated with the sites and signs managed by the system. When used in combination with the system’s mapping functionality, site trips can be assigned and scheduled based on locations and routes.
