HARRISBURG, PA – Kelly Lewis, president and CEO, TechQuest PA, today announced the speakers for the Third Annual Pennsylvania Infrastructure Summit taking place May 20, 2010, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Organized by TechQuest PA and keystone sponsor Bentley Systems, the summit will feature presentations by prominent Pennsylvania government, business, and industry leaders committed to turning communications, water, transportation, and energy infrastructure challenges across the state into strategies for sustaining growth and prosperity. A special guest presentation will be made by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, who last year launched an aggressive strategy called Greenworks Philadelphia to reduce the city’s carbon footprint and make Philadelphia the greenest city in the United States by 2015. The timely and compelling theme of this year’s summit is “Driving Economic Prosperity Through Investment in Infrastructure.”

“The important work that will be done at this summit will strategically advance an infrastructure agenda for Pennsylvania crucial to its being a leader not just nationally, but also in the global economy,” Lewis said. “To continue to thrive and draw a steady stream of innovative commercial enterprises, along with the talent required to make them successful, Pennsylvania needs to significantly enhance its infrastructure – everything from roads and bridges to broadband networks, water systems, energy generation facilities, and more. Working with groups like the Pennsylvania Business Council, industry associations, companies, and government leaders, our summit participants will develop specific recommendations that enable Pennsylvania to address its current infrastructure challenges and set the stage for a bright and rewarding future for all of its residents.”

Lewis continued, “To guide the discussions among the hundreds who will gather at the summit, we’ve put together an impressive lineup of speakers. Each will present his or her unique perspective regarding opportunities for economic growth and improvements in quality of life that investment in infrastructure can help drive.”
The summit agenda will feature speakers from both the public and private sectors. Each fully understands the critical importance of robust infrastructure to the economic health of Pennsylvania. The speakers will include:
