Summary: 

The EU-financed Humboldt project is named after Alexander von Humboldt, a famous scholar of the 19th century.

This project aims to use existing know-how on data harmonization in creative ways to support the harmonization processes in an SDI context. This approach can be used to put relevant INSPIRE implementation specifications into practice and bring spatial information into new application areas.
