On January 7, 2005 the Dutch company BAM Infratechniek Zuid signed a contract for the construction of a large fiber optic system in Eindhoven.
The system was to be built in only eight months; a race against the clock that began when BAM chose Bentley Fiber for the design of the network. BAM was an early adopter of Bentley Fiber in Europe, and afterwards many companies began to adopt the technology. Although the local requirements appeared to be different to a standard American fiber optic network- Bentley has proven to be very responsive in evolving the software.
See how BAM, with help of Bentley, won its race against the clock.
