Summary:

The Folsom Dam Bridge is a 970 ft long, Three Span, CIP Segmental Post-Tensioned Concrete Box Girder Structure with a 430-ft center span and two 270-ft side spans. It was agreed upon by CH2M HILL and the Corp of Engineers to incorporate integrated 3D drawings into the plan set to minimize conflicts with reinforcement and post-tensioning ducts in this heavily reinforced structure. Bentley Rebar was the clear software choice to develop rebar details and integrated drawings.

During the Integrated Drawings process, the design team desired to have a large number of views to clearly identify and fix conflicts.

What you can learn: How to use Bentely Rebar and MicroStation to create 2D/3D design files.
