P&ID Capabilities
OpenPlant PowerPID has not only greatly enhanced Bentley’s ability to interoperate with open standards, but also features new capabilities that leverage and greatly enhance Bentley’s previous intelligent P&ID applications. Some of the new or enhanced features include:
- Intelligent Cells – all data for the equipment, valves, pipes, and so on that are maintained with the cell in the ISO 15926 data format
- Parametric Components – for example, parametric vessels with dynamic heads and internals, parametric control valves with dynamic actuators and end conditions, and more
- Deferred Tagging – draft your P&IDs and tag later – or enforce component tagging as you go – the choice is yours
