Technical Requirements
Product Prerequisites
Facilities Manager requires a running ProjectWise 8.1 application server; file server, file transfer services and a Bentley Facilities data source. Facilities Manager clients require Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher A ProjectWise V8.1 client is recommended for generic document management functionality.
Client System Requirements
Processor: Intel Pentium-based PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows NT 4 (SP6 recommended), and Windows 2000 (SP 2) / XP
Memory: Minimum 64MB of RAM. 128MB of RAM is recommended.
Disk Space: 35MB free disk space.
Input Device: Mouse
Application and File Server Requirements
Processor: Intel Pentium-based PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows NT 4 (SP6 or later), Windows 2000 (SP2)/XP
Memory: Minimum 128MB of RAM. 256MB of RAM is recommended.
Disk Space: dependent on size of dataset.
Database Server Requirements
Bentley Facilities servers run with Oracle 8.1.7, Sybase SQL Anywhere 7 and Microsoft SQL server. Server requirements are based on the database vendor’s requirements.
