Future City Competition

Bentley is proud to support National Engineers Week as a sponsor of the Future City Competition. This annual competition, targeted at seventh and eight grade students, aims to stir interest in science, technology, engineering, and math among young people. The competition provides a fun, educational engineering program that combines a stimulating engineering challenge with a "hands-on" application to let students present their vision of a city of the future. Bentley encourages both students and professional users to get involved in this rewarding experience.

The 2009 Future City National Finals, sponsored by Bentley, took place February 17-18 at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Teams from 38 middle schools nationwide, winners of regional competitions held in January, gathered to present their projects. Read more about the competition and winners.
