James Michael Elwell

Elwell is an independent consultant working through Bentley’s professional services organization. He is responsible for providing training for new and existing electrical application users in North America, developing functional specifications for electrical design automation software and assisting power companies in planning and deploying process improvement.

Prior to Bentley, Elwell worked for TAD PGS as a project manager and senior designer. His duties included preparing time estimates, performing wiring technician functions, and drafting. Elwell worked for 18 years at ABB Power T&D Company, where he was a senior design specialist. He installed and configured MicroStation for users in the engineering department.
