Bentley Instrumentation and Wiring 8.9.3 lets you display the instrument signal “flowing” down any cable core or wire when panel termination drawings are generated. The ability to display the signal is possible at any point of marshalling from the field device to the control panel I/O card terminals.
This feature has been added as a direct request from users who stated the ability to see the instrument signal on these types of drawings is essential in the checking process and also at the commissioning stage of a project.
