This presentation covers lifecycle data management using the QA tools of Axsys.Engine to deliver Plant as-built document management. Handling more than 250,000 drawings Axsys.Engine replaced most of the former paper schematics and its open nature integrates data-based documents with other advanced data processing tools. Intelligent schematic diagrams and related specifications are published on plant intranet, significantly increasing availability and accessibility of documents widely used in maintenance and service support as well as in plant project and configuration management.
The inherent connectivity in graphics enables the user to model the clearance areas for safe maintenance works, areas of equipment seismic and safety classification, media and electric signal path, etc., in the same documents. Through data warehouse, the values from special systems can be displayed in colors or dynamic texts, which gives the best possibility to scan data visually.
