Harris is a consultant for Bentley and a certified MicroStation trainer. Prior to Bentley, Harris worked as a technical support specialist for Symmetry Systems, where he taught, conducted demonstrations, and provided sales and support services. He previously worked for Wilbur Smith Associates as a CADD technician and was a lead CADD drafter. He was involved with modifying MicroStation Workspaces, plot drivers, and configuration files while working with a number of departments of transportation including New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Harris also held the title of CADD technician while working for VanAlstyne Associates, where he was responsible for manipulated custom layering and plotting systems, document management and archiving procedures. He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College, where he earned a certificate in computer aided drafting. He also earned a certificate in computer programming applications from The Stratford School. He is has experience with technical support, Microsoft software and Corel’s suite of products, as well as designing and updating programs using BASIC and COBOL.
