You must have a CD drive or Internet access for product installation. The following prerequisites are required to run the modules included in Bentley AXSYS.Engine V8i.
Before installing the software, confirm that you have adequate hardware and software capabilities to install and use the product.
Important: Make sure you have the latest critical updates for the version of Windows on the computer. To look for recent updates, visit Windows Update.

400 megahertz (MHz) Intel or AMD processor (1 GHz or higher recommended)

256MB (512 recommended)
Additional memory over the minimum requirements shown above, will result in improved performance.
Hard Disk
110 MB hard disk space for installation including sample project databases. The actual space required will vary with each machine (up to an additional 500 MB is required if you do not have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 installed).
100 MB minimum recommended additional disk space for sample project database use.
Input Device
Any industry-standard input device supported by Windows
Output Device
Any industry-standard output device supported by Windows
Video Graphics Card
Any industry-standard video card/monitor with a minimum of 8MB
Software
Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007 is required for running Datasheets (Data Access Objects are also required as part of Excel).
