Gilles has worked at Bentley since 2000 and is a regional project manager. Based in the United Kingdom, he previously worked out of Bentley’s office in Munich, Germany, as a project manager and applications engineer. His current responsibilities include managing, coordinating, and administering projects from proposal though successful delivery.
Prior to Bentley, Gilles was an architect for Perkins & Will, Hoppe Sommer and Associates, Professor Ernst W. Krause, and for Professor Hans D. Kaiser. As an architect, he designed buildings, created construction documents, developed bids, produced scale models, and administrated IT. Gilles was a joiner for Schreinerei Kaufmann working on interior finishing and building furniture.
Gilles studied architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Germany and at the Royal Institute of Technologies in Sweden. Recipient of a Fulbright scholarship, Gilles graduated from Ball State University with a master’s degree in architecture. Gilles’ hobbies include photography and furniture design. He enjoys staying active by running, swimming and working out.
