Track I: Oil & Gas Solutions Ossama Tawfick, Industry Sales Director Plant, Bentley Systems Middle East
The backbone of the Oil & Gas Solutions Set is the data. As Owner/Operators capital projects timelines are ever shortening, manpower resources are harder to find for design and construction and margins for operations and maintenance are being squeezed razor-thin. Therefore, reducing costs and increasing productivity is the key to business sustainability. By employing a solution set specifically addressing the Oil & Gas business, data is properly managed throughout the engineering work process, eliminating data re-entry and data misuse and improving engineering data quality. This way, timelines can be shortened, handover can be streamlined and operations and maintenance can be improved. Bentley, drawing from its strong backbone of software portfolio design and implementation, is here to partner you through your quest for sustainable growth.

Track I: Integrated Structural Workflow for the Design of Oil and Gas Structures
Santanu Das, Vice President, Bentley Systems, Inc.
In today’s new world, bottom line profits are as precious as natural commodities like oil and natural gas. Billions are wasted every year by large EPC companies and their subs on software that lacks integration. Through this disjointed workflow, data integrity is compromised leading to inefficiencies such as maintaining multiple physical and analytical models throughout the design chain, inexact extraction of 2D drawings and manual calculation of critical structural components like connections, footings and loads. This presentation will address how an integrated structural workflow using Bentley’s ISM technology can eliminate the inefficiencies between data transfer amongst structural engineers, piping designers and owner/operators. Products that will be highlighted included STAAD.Pro, AutoPIPE and ProSteel.
Track II: Putting Intelligence into your workplace!
Oscar Custers, Industry Sales Director Central Government, Bentley Systems Europe
This presentation will focus on the vertical geospatial technologies for governmental organizations. With the use of these technologies the business can be made more effective, efficient, while lowering the liability risks. Precision, intelligent data, sharing the information with the appropriate people providing the ability to make the right decision based on the proper information are all ingredients in “Putting intelligence to your workplace!”
Track III: Transportation & Local Infrastructure
Steve Cockerell, Marketing Director EMEA & Asia, Bentley Systems UK
This presentation provides an overview of the latest civil solutions from Bentley in the areas of Road and Rail, and includes V8i product updates for the following products; Bentley MX, Bentley Rail Track and PowerCivil. It also introduces “Bridge Information Modelling” or BrIM, a key initiative from Bentley that aims to connect our Bridge portfolio of products including; RM Bridge (formerly RM2006) and LEAP Bridge for the design and analysis of all types and size of bridge around the world, through the exchange and reuse of an unlimited array of bridge data across related disciplines in this sector.

Track I: Asset Information Management Systems: Emergence, applications and benefits.
Mark Biagi, Solutions Executive – Power Generation, Bentley Systems Europe
The most innovative firms in Oil & Gas infrastructure today, not necessarily the largest, are those demanding the greatest integration of design, engineering and operational systems. Beyond the use of conventional CAD and Document Management applications, it is often the smaller and more agile firms operating in highly competitive markets that are driving technology developments through their own ingenuity. Bentley is proud to work with many of these industry leaders. Through several case studies this presentation studies why these firms are replacing conventional applications with future-proofed and standards-based Integrated Asset Information Management Systems, and how the benefits are driving their competitiveness. In the process Bentley is accelerating the development of innovative technologies that will have far reaching effects for firms throughout the process industry.
Track II: Sustaining Urban Water Infrastructure
Dr. Slavco Velickov, Water Industry Sales Director EMEA, Bentley Systems Europe Municipalities, utilities, and civil engineering firms around the world trust Bentley's Water and Wastewater Solutions to map, plan, optimize, design, and operate water distribution, wastewater conveyance, and stormwater drainage infrastructure. Bentley’s water software products, which include the Haestad Methods product line, equip water professionals with easy-to-use, multi-platform, and advanced engineering tools for lifecycle management of the urban water infrastructure.
