Halff Associates is a multidiscipline, full-service organization that had doubled in size the past five years. It needed to quickly train new hires while keeping existing employees current on the latest technology. Though the firm has in-house staff who provide some training, demand for instruction exceeded their ability to provide it, and the required expertise wasn’t always available—for example, in advanced technologies such as BIM.
Halff employed a Bentley training subscription to address its training needs in a timely, cost-effective manner. A blend of training options was used, including onsite and off-site training as well as instructor-led and self-paced distance learning. This inititative has allowed Halff to stay competitive in the midst of its rapid growth by training entry-level employees to do more advanced design and enabling the firm to embrace advanced technologies such as BIM.
